Isabella is an 8 year old Animal Champion. She regularly advocates for animals whether they are her own or not. Some of her regular chores are feeding her 2 cats and 1 dog, and making sure they have plenty of water so they stay healthy.
She often explores how she can make the world a better place through her Girl Scout Troop and community actions.
We asked Isabella a few questions about being an Animal Champion. Here is what Isabella had to say about it all...
What is animal adoption?
"Everyone deserves to have a cute pet! Pet Stores sell them, and it costs money, but going to an animal shelter and adopting a pet is a very good deed!
Of course buying a pet is completely optional, but hard workers really deserve a spoonful of cuteness.
Adopting pets fill your life with rainbows. lollipops, and cuteness!"
What does it mean to adopt?
"Adopting a pet means having a new friend."
What would you tell a friend that said they were getting a new pet?
"I would say congratulations. Then I would tell them to always make sure their pet always has food and water. Make sure they're always happy. Pet them whenever you have a chance. And maybe even get them a friend."
What would you do to help homeless animals?
"Take them to a vet, then see if anyone would want to adopt them. And if nobody wanted them, I would adopt them."
What does it mean to be an Animal Champion?
"An Animal Champion is someone that helps animals."
We can't argue with any of her answers!
It's not hard to see that Isabella has the same passion about helping animals that she has seen in the people around her, and she knows how to make sure others do the same.
